Remotes 11-365

11-365

I walked into the living room and saw this on my chair. The moment I saw the ridiculousness of 5 remotes and a phone lined up on the arm of my chair, I had to make it my photo of the day.

These are the seats in the balcony of my church. I like how only one has its seat pulled down.

Post Memorial Day

A small, country cemetery

I found this headstone very interesting. I'm not sure who would want a headstone that is made to look like a log (or possibly a tree stump?), but it made a great photo.

Small Town Water Tower

Wendy over at On the Front Porch has a new feature called Small Town Snapshot Sunday...and since we're all about small towns here, I just had to link up with her post. I was so glad for that extra little push to go out and get something different than my usual nature shots. I really think this water tower has "small town" written all over it!

I couldn't decide if I wanted this picture in color or black and white, but finally decided on B&W because the original colors were nothing great in the first place.

Small Town Water Tower

B&W or Color?

I couldn't decide which version I liked better, so I decided to put it to a vote.

Black and White

So which do you prefer?

Around the Farm

I spent some time today taking pictures around the farm. I am posting quite a few pictures today. My goal is to only post pictures that were taken that day. Because of that, there will be days that I post lots of pictures and other days when I only post one. I am considering posting each picture separately from now on; that way each image will have it's own link. However, I would probably post pictures in a series in one post. I am also considering creating a split post where the picture and title will be displayed, but you would need to click on it to read any additional information about the picture. I think this will create a cleaner blog. Please let me know what you think about these ideas.

Sledding

Here are some black and whites of cattle. I always really like farm animals in black and white. It gives them some sense of majesty in my opinion.
