Some of what remains of our latest snow. I love it when it dots across the yard in patterns. This is left over from my dad's tractor from when he plowed my driveway.
The eyes aren't quite sharp enough on this because it was hard to keep the focus with her moving so quickly. Still, I loved the expression on this photo, so it is my favorite of the day.
Besides photography, I also love to cook, and lately I've been really into making cupcakes. This batch was actually made for someone who paid me to make them!
This is one of my daily routines now that I have been diagnosed with RA. These are my morning meds and vitamins. Thankfully, the PM side doesn't have near as many...

I walked into the living room and saw this on my chair. The moment I saw the ridiculousness of 5 remotes and a phone lined up on the arm of my chair, I had to make it my photo of the day.
This was taken with the aid of an old light box for viewing negatives and some foam board set up around and under the light box. Camera mounted on a tripod. Used my macro lens.
Not happy with the outcome of this photo, but that's the reason I'm doing the 365...to learn. I couldn't really tell that the exposure wasn't quite right in the LCD screen...
And so it begins! I've been so excited to start this 365. One of my friends is doing one as well and we both waited for today, the first day of the new year, to begin. I am really hoping it will be challenging and a great learning experience.
